SHOWstudio premieres Debris -

From SHOWstudio: Following on from her poignant Fashion Fetish contribution, Metamorphosis, video and performance artist,Erica Schreiner provides her latest film, Debris. Schreiner originally trained as a graphic designer but has been self-publishing and working as an artist since 2006 by creating videos with her 1984 Sharp analog VHS. The camera is central to her unique aesthetic, which is built around the subtle way in which it captures light and movement. Her newest work, Debris, features Schreiner’s characteristic attributes of ‘make and destroy’ and abstract symbolism. The role of sound in the film is also worth noting, where silence and sound collide in an auditory assault that encourages a sense of vulnerability from the viewer.Dip into this film for an immersive and intense visual experience.
